Trail head!

Today I designed this blog, and while it's nowhere near done, I think it's good enough to show the world. The point is to track my riding and experiences as well as the interesting things happening in my rider life, such as if any of my creative writings get published, or I read a fantastic book, or whatever. The other main point, however, is to create a site that compiles a lot of basic horse information. I don't know about the rest of you, but I think it's a PAIN when you can't find everything you need about a simple topic on one site, and you have to go to about twenty to get the parts of the horse and the parts of the saddle. Why not have it all in one place? Now, there will be a lot of opinions on this site, but that's because it's MY experience and MY knowledge. Flame me if you want, but everything I say is said with months of research by me and my mother by pouring over academic journals and veterinary research and the like, but everyone has their own way of doing things, and I respect that. These are my suggestions to those looking for help. Also, every week I'll be posting the weekly lesson with things I find useful. They might not be very good at first because I've never done anything like this before, but they'll improve over time. Eventually, I may remake my early ones. If there's anything you would like to learn that's horse related from training to horse management to trailer driving to whatever, email me at immortalstables@gmail.com. I will make videos of the most popular suggestions unless I have something planned. I will try to get to everyone's question in time. I hope you enjoy riding down the bridle path!

This is "What My Horse Sees." This is my mare, Marti at the lovely Catalina State Park in Tucson, AZ.
